Conversations with My Womb

Healing the Wounded Feminine

9 Week Online Course

4 September – 30 October 2024.

We are going through a turbulent, yet unique time in our history. Age-old beliefs of domination and discrimination are thrown into total disarray. Violence and the suppression of the feminine are caught in the crossfire. For a very long time, we upheld the masculine model of power at the expense of the feminine.

The time has come for feminine energy to heal and lead. For that to happen, women need to explore ways in which they have been harmed by or colluded with the dominator model of power for their survival.

This online course provides a safe space for women to heal their deep-seated emotional and spiritual wounds. Healing the wound of being born female is the first and most critical step in re-writing the code of being a woman in a patriarchal society.

Dubbed “Conversation with My Womb” the course will create space for women to reflect on the impact of repressed feminine planetary energy on humanity. The womb is used here as a literal and metaphorical expression of women’s healing from inside out.

About The Course

Why this course?

Many years after the advent of democracy, women have made remarkable strides in public and private leadership. As their position in society improves, many bear the brunt of stress and ill-health. Haunted by childhood conditioning, modern women are faced with a major challenge of breaking free from beliefs that uphold the masculine at the expense of the feminine. Fighting for positions that were once reserved for men is not an end in itself. Instead, it is an invitation to explore the possibility of birthing a leadership model which ceases to suppress the feminine.

If you are ready and willing to make a commitment to your own healing, join Dr Mmatshilo Motsei in her quest to create space for women to reclaim the power of the divine feminine.

    What the previous participants say

I sat down to challenge my values and how I can consciously parent my daughter and son in order to change the narrative for women and men...I have to take an active role in transforming society and it doesn’t have to be on a grand scale.

Through the circle of healing, Mmatshilo created a platform where women can compassionately face their demons and pave the way for their Divinity to arise. It is by no means an easy journey, but one that is deeply transformational for women who yearn to shed the multiple layers that prevent us from showing up as the best version of ourselves.

I shared the fire ritual with my granddaughter who was visiting. I am looking forward to an even better relationship with her. Each week’s topic took me to how I carried my body with all its organs as a necessity to enable myself to earn a living, to have children.. .totally disconnected. And when I sometimes experienced a connection, I felt guilty and suppressed my emotions.

    AmandaVryburg, Northern Cape

Of all my life struggles, my relationship with my mom has always been my biggest challenge… My biggest resentment of her was that she chose to stay in an abusive marriage and let me as a child experience all her pain and suffering… now as I get more clarity, I commit to heal my relationship with her.

At the time of the course, I was going through grief, loss, and trauma. I was also experiencing betrayal and isolation. The course offered me wisdom and inspiration. I found truth, tenderness and holding which I needed for my journey at the time. I would not hesitate to enroll in the course again.

When I enrolled in the course, I expected that the issues would be about my relationship with my mother but to my surprise, a lot of stuff was about my father wound. The course helped me to terminate a long-term relationship which was not good for my mental health and freedom.
